Peninsula: Starting with Hijacking Yoona

98, Set Visit

98, Set Visit

Lee Kyung-bon originally wanted to stay and watch Ahn Hee-yeon (Hani) and Bae Suzy's performance.

It wasn't that I had any other intentions; I just simply wanted to see what it was like to see a young and inexperienced Ahn Hee-yeon performing live, and how a talented idol like Bae Suzy would perform on stage.

In his mind, the performance in person and the performance on screen are definitely different.

"You want to see it?" Luo Yonghao saw through Li Jingcheng's thoughts. "How about we watch it first and then go?"

"A little."

"Then you take a look first—"

"Need not."

Lee Kyung-sung withdrew his gaze. "I've already made plans with Yoona. Anyway, there's always another chance later."

Luo Yonghao shrugged and then went to communicate with the program production team.

They let him go very readily—although they were in different departments, they were all in CJ. Jingcheng was now known throughout the company as a royal, and Representative Li had specifically chosen him to be promoted. No one would stop him from leaving early.

Before setting off,

Lee Kyung-sung said to Luo Yong-ho, "Yong-ho hyung, please arrange a support truck now."

"Don't worry, I already made arrangements when you said you wanted to visit the set," Luo Yonghao replied, glancing in the rearview mirror as he drove.

Having a professional agent is really great.

As Luo Yonghao turned the steering wheel, he reminded her, "There's another schedule at 5 PM. You can only stay with Lin Yun'er for a maximum of 3 hours."

Li Jingcheng leaned back in the back seat, not paying much attention. "A few hours is fine too. It's better than nothing."

It's quite close to Sangsu-dong in Mapo-gu.

When they arrived, Yoona was already waiting at the entrance of the photography studio.

She was wearing a dark down jacket over her costume, with medium-length brown, slightly wavy hair. Unlike the sophisticated idol she appears on camera, she opted for a simpler, more understated makeup style to suit her character. Even in this state, her face was still captivating—her features were delicate and soft, and her eyes curved slightly when she smiled, exuding a pure and innocent charm that made her stand out even without deliberate styling.

Seeing Li Jingcheng get out of the car, she smiled and said, "So fast? I thought I would have to wait a long time, after all, you are a very busy person now."

"After all, Yoona personally asked, so I have to make time for her." Lee Kyung-sung's gaze softened as he looked at Yoona, who had come out to wait for him.

Yoona was used to him not using honorifics, so she smiled gently and glanced at his hands—empty. Her manager, not far away, also had empty hands.

She leaned closer and lowered her voice, "Didn't your agent remind you to bring something? It's considered impolite to visit a set in Korea empty-handed. I don't mind, but there are a lot of people on set, and if word gets out, it will affect your reputation."

As she spoke, her warm breath brushed against his ear, carrying a hint of ambiguity.

Lee Kyung-sung's heart skipped a beat—not because of the ambiguous gesture, but because of the way Yoona reminded him.

She was considering his feelings because she was afraid of being impolite.

He smiled and explained, "The support truck has been arranged, but it's on its way and hasn't arrived yet."

Upon hearing this, Lim Yoona nodded, "That's more like it." Her tone was soft, with a hint of a smile that came from relaxing.

She led him into the film set, and as they passed the open space between the lights and cameras,

Several people walked over on their own initiative.

Walking at the front was Jang Geun-suk, who was taller than he appeared on TV. He extended his hand and said, "Kyung Sung-ssi, it's an honor to meet you. I'm Jang Geun-suk."

Lee Kyung-sung shook hands with her and said politely, "I heard from Yoon-ah that you took good care of her on set. I came to visit Yoon-ah today and it was a pleasure to meet you."

Jang Geun-suk was stunned for a moment, not absorbing a single word of the polite words of consideration for her, but the way he kept calling her "Yoona, Yoona" showed he had something going for him.

He remembered that Li Jingcheng should be even younger.

However, he didn't show any other expression on his face, and smiled politely, "She's exaggerating. Everyone in the crew is taking care of her, how could it be my turn?"

Lim Yoona was inwardly amused and exasperated. She tilted her head to look at Lee Kyung-sung's profile, but didn't offer any explanation.

After a few brief pleasantries, the group dispersed. They all knew that Lee Kyung-sung had come to see Im Yoon-ah, and staying too long would only create awkwardness.

When Lee Kyung-sung and Lim Yoon-ah stood together, a few staff members in the corner kept glancing at them, but no one came over to disturb them.

Both of them noticed it, but neither of them paid any attention.

Yoona lightly touched his arm, her expression somewhat strange.

"What's wrong?" Li Jingcheng deliberately feigned innocence.

Keep pretending.

Lim Yoona rolled her eyes dramatically, but wasn't really angry. It was just that she'd gotten used to not having used a single honorific word since the beginning.

Seeing her quicken her pace, Lee Kyung-sung helplessly grabbed her arm, "Yoona noona~ What's wrong? Are you angry?"

"So bold?"

Yoona's pupils widened slightly; there were so many staff members around her.

Right now,

The support vehicle was still on its way, but it was getting closer and closer to the "Love Rain" filming location. The photo on the vehicle was of Im Yoon-a—a promotional image for the "Love Rain" filming location. She was slightly tilting her head, raising her hand to hold a yellow umbrella, her long brown hair falling smoothly over her shoulders.

The banner read:

"When filming 'Love Rain,' Yoona, please don't overexert yourself. Take breaks to relax and rest. We wish you a smooth and stress-free filming process."

A silver-gray Mercedes-Benz SLK55 AMG was driving past in the opposite lane, not going fast, as if it were taking a leisurely stroll.

Kim Tae-yeon sat in the driver's seat with the window half open.

She wore a black mask that covered most of her face, and a pair of round-framed glasses with light brown lenses perched on her nose. Her eyes, though not large, were bright and intelligent. She was petite and sat in the driver's seat with her body slightly tucked in, like a cat curled up in a ball.

If it weren't for her very distinctive eyes, it would be hard to recognize her at a glance.

Kim Tae-yeon originally just came out to get some fresh air and relax, as she didn't have any scheduled activities these past few days.

Then her gaze fell on something—the support vehicle on the opposite lane. It was large, with eye-catching graphics, and she recognized the photo on it at a glance.

She blinked, and the car involuntarily slowed down a bit. She tilted her head and looked across the street for a moment, but couldn't see the signature behind the banner.

She wondered to herself, who sent it?

Kim Tae-yeon instinctively wanted to take out her phone and send a message to the group asking if it was a gift from a member, but then she thought it was unlikely. Members would usually let each other know beforehand if they were sending a support truck, so it wouldn't be so sudden.

suddenly,

Then she thought of someone—Lim Yoona had sent a support truck to Lee Kyung-sung before, something she remembered very clearly. It was highly likely that Lee Kyung-sung was returning the favor.

And if it really was Li Jingcheng who gave it to you, would he himself be present at the scene?

Several of her friends asked Yoona to introduce Lee Kyung-sung, but she refused.

But if I show up in person... I don't believe Yoona can hide.

Kim Tae-yeon glanced at the rearview mirror, turned on the turn signal, and made a U-turn at the intersection. The support vehicle had already driven far away, but it wasn't a secret that the Love Rain crew was there.

When she passed a dessert shop that was still lit up, she stopped the car, went in and bought a lot of desserts, gave the address to the shop assistant, and then got back in the car and continued driving towards the film set.

When the support truck arrived, Lee Kyung-sung and Lim Yoon-ah were chatting at the door.

As soon as the car came to a stop, Lim Yoona saw it.

She didn't speak immediately, but Li Jingcheng noticed her gaze linger on the car for a moment, or more precisely, on those few words.

Yoona turned her head and glanced at him, a half-smile on her face. "Nice cheering message."

"Definitely, I've thought about it for a long time." He nodded in agreement, but it was only in acknowledgment of Luo Yonghao's arrangement.

As Kim Tae-yeon approached, she saw Im Yoon-ah standing at the entrance of the film set from afar.

Her gaze lingered on Yoona for only a second before shifting away—because there was someone else standing next to Yoona. A very tall man, wearing a dark coat, with broad shoulders, making Yoona appear even smaller.

The man's features were deep and strong, with distinct and well-defined features, completely lacking the delicate features commonly seen in Korean men.

It was Li Jingcheng.

Kim Tae-yeon narrowed her eyes, then smiled.

"Yoona-ah—!"

She called out, her voice tinged with laughter, and ran over quickly and steadily.

However, although she called out Yoona's name, her gaze remained fixed on Lee Kyung-sung.
